Collection: Na'aman
Rami Na’aman, a former film director and his wife Bettina, an artist, established NA’AMAN Winery in Ramot Naftali in 2001, turning what was initially a hobby into a very successful award-winning winery in a short space of time.
Na’aman released their first wine in 2004, and have since won more than 25 medals in competitions worldwide. They now produce some 12,000 bottles per year.
Grapes are grown in the surrounding Kedesh Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Merlot vines are planted at an altitude of 420 meters above sea level on limestone soil. The low rainfall and the temperature range between night and day are ideal conditions for these grapes to grow to a very high standard.
The wines are the result of careful and meticulous work and capture the passion and love of wine making that the producers have in abundance.
“I thought I was just planting the vineyard in the ground, but I soon discovered I was planting it also in my heart.” — Rami Na’aman
